Business Finance Mastery Programme

We've spent years watching Australian business owners struggle with cash flow decisions, tax planning, and growth funding. This programme pulls back the curtain on financial strategies that actually work—not textbook theory, but real approaches used by businesses turning over anywhere from $500K to $5M annually.

What You're Actually Learning

Look, most finance courses either drown you in accounting jargon or stay so surface-level they're useless. We're aiming for the middle ground—practical skills you'll use the following week.

The programme runs across eight months starting September 2025, with fortnightly sessions that fit around actual business schedules. You'll work through your own company's financials, not made-up case studies. By the end, you'll read balance sheets without panic, forecast cash flow with confidence, and understand which metrics actually matter for your industry.

And here's something we've learned: the best insights often come from other participants. You'll be grouped with business owners facing similar challenges, which means the coffee breaks can be just as valuable as the formal sessions.

Core Topics We'll Cover

Cash Flow Reality

Understanding where money actually goes, spotting problems before they bite, and building buffers that don't strangle growth. We'll use your real figures.

Tax Planning

Strategic timing for expenses, structure decisions, and working with your accountant more effectively. Australian tax specifics, not generic advice.

Growth Funding

When to bootstrap, when to borrow, and how to present your business to banks or investors without feeling like you're begging.

Financial Forecasting

Building projections that aren't fiction, scenario planning for market changes, and adjusting plans when reality shifts.

Pricing Strategy

Moving beyond cost-plus, understanding margin psychology, and pricing for the value you actually deliver rather than what competitors charge.

Risk Management

Identifying financial vulnerabilities in your business model, insurance decisions that matter, and building resilience without paranoia.

Format & Schedule

Eight months, starting September 2025. Fortnightly sessions on Thursday evenings (6:30-9pm) plus two full Saturday workshops.

Sessions run at our Blaxland East office, with online participation available for those who can't make it in person. All sessions are recorded.

You'll also get access to our resource library and monthly open office hours for questions between sessions.

Who Should Join

Business owners or senior managers handling financial decisions but lacking formal finance training. Works best if your business is already established—not startups in their first year.

You'll need basic spreadsheet skills and willingness to share your numbers (confidentially) with the group. That vulnerability is where real learning happens.

Class size is limited to 16 participants so everyone gets individual attention.
